Hi Andreas,
I saw your message about being able to successfully run Cinelerra Cv under
FreeBSD.
As I have Fedora 8 infraestructure ports, I decided to give a try to Fedora 8
Cinelerra.
It starts normally, cinelerra windows opens, but I can't interact. I can't
even close the "tip of the day" window.
If you want to give a try here is my changes from your tarball:

And here is the freebsd-f8 infraestructure (It's still under development by
freebsd-emulators):

You need to have linux_base-f8 with OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=f8
under /etc/make.conf and
compat.linux.osrelease=2.6.16 under sysctl.conf
